As Secretary Clinton's spokesman confirmed on Friday, the secretary of state does not have swine flu; he said she just had "mild allergies" that were acting up Friday morning. Turns out, though, that those allergies might not be so mild. FP's The Cable confirmed yesterday that Clinton spent a three-day weekend in New York to recuperate. All of yesterday's appointments were rescheduled. Perhaps the rescheduling explains why her schedule for today is so packed. Let's hope Clinton is feeling at her best tomorrow, when Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Afghan President Hamid Karzai will be in Washington.
