Does Hillary ever suffer from jet lag?
This weekend, Secretary Clinton flew halfway around the world to Iraq and Lebanon, and now she's back to business in Washington as her official schedule below shows. Does jet lag ever get to her? Perhaps she gets enough shut-eye in the cozy accommodations of the plane she flies in?
Above, Clinton listens to Lebanese parliamentary Majority Leader Saad Hariri as they visit the tomb of his father, slain former Premier Rafik Hariri (in picture), in Beirut on April 26. Clinton made an unannounced visit to Lebanon as the country readies for June 7 parliamentary elections that could see the militant group Hezbollah and its allies emerge victorious.

This woman....
is just amazing!
She should have been our president!
Actually, I think she does a
Actually, I think she does a lot of reading and studying on the plane - that's how she always knows EVERYTHING when she gets to these Town Halls and press conferences. I saw her doing that with a huge binder going to Iraq.
Hillary and Jet Lag
I'm glad to find this site about Hillary. She is an important person for history and she is the one, Americans truly voted for president.
Unbelievable!
Hillary is doing such an extraordinary job as SOS! It seems she is everywhere at once. She is such a workaholic, and our country is fortunate to be the beneficiary of such a tireless public servant. I don't understand how Hillary can NOT have jet lag, but I don't understand how she manages many things, so who knows??
It probably seems like no big deal to her...
...compared to running for President.
I couldn't take just a few months of the vitriol, sexist rhetoric, meanspiritedness, and insults thrown her way --and they weren't even directed at me! Imagine enduring that kind of abuse for 15-plus years. I remember a year ago, she told us she has become impervious to it, but still, it must have been hard to take week after week, month after month. I'm sure it feels pretty good to be getting near-universal praise at home, grudging respect from the press, and warm welcomes all over the world -- as well she deserves. She certainly looks like she is thriving, jet lag or not!
exactly!
You are soo right!
I sense that ...
She feels liberated like she has never done since law school.
In a way, even more liberated than as President because she doesn't have to campaign for re-election any more. It is all up to her now to shine in her own inimitable way. She is not just an SoS but an SoS that almost became president. That's not something any previous SoS can say and it shows in how she is received overseas. She has already made history in countless ways and she's only just begun. She is smart enough to keep and grow a base with women voters that will make her a potent force in the Democratic party to the chagrin of Republicans and the discombobulation of conservatives. And she will finally get her healthcare!
Now, what was that about jet lag?
Oh yeah
I do agree with you. She's no common SoS and I'm sure she will use that fact properly.
However,Do you think she'll ever run again? I mean, maybe she'll be Obama's second term vice-president in order to run again.
