Some of you all might be interested in checking out this recent New York Times article, "Lower Profile for Clinton, but Her Influence Rises."

A couple of quotes:

The administration's hierarchy was also on vivid display last week, when Mrs. Clinton flew home from Mexico late Thursday, so she could stand wordlessly behind Mr. Obama at the White House as he presented his Afghanistan policy on Friday.

Mrs. Clinton will be at Mr. Obama's side for the next few days … . Aides say it is entirely possible she will not utter a word in public during any of Mr. Obama's appearances.

Interestingly, the article mentions that Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen gave Clinton a large bouquet of "Hillary Clinton tulips," a variety named for the former first lady in 1994.

She's the only one from the HUGE Obama team that is looking cheerful. When Obama and Michelle smile, it all looks so phony - especially Michelles's faux pas touching the Queen. Reminds me of that old song. "Smiling faces" - "beware the pat on the back!" Yikes! I would step away, too!

On the other hand, Hillary just glows. Hillary Clinton tulips indeed! Two lips - pretty ones, and they smile and they do not lie or obfuscate.

Let Obama have the spotlight. (Psst, Hillary, come sit over here with us at our table.)

Is it children or women who

Is it children or women who should be "seen but not heard"?

I don't know who wrote this piece of...trash, but it typifies the Times' biased pro-Obama anti-Hillary coverage throughout the primary season.

I'm tempted to write, "Behind every great man there's a strong woman," but it sounds vaguely sexist!

She doesn't have to talk ...

This type of smug "he's her boss now" and "she's working for HIM now" alleged journalism and junk commentary is very typical of the pro-Obama legions. The NY Times is a major rag that has no love for Hillary and was instrumental in smearing her campaign to the decided advantage of Obama.

The Times can cat-scratch all they want, but the truth is Hillary doesn't have to say a WORD to show him up, and he KNOWS it!

Hillary is so Presidential....

...the NYT can spin their spin any way they want...Hillary not only looks Presidential...very few would doubt Hillary could step in from Day One to be Presidential...

Obama would be lost with Hillary, Bill and Bill's former people...

...and Hillary would not need a teleprompter to say "good morning and every other word that came out of her mouth in public...

ridiculous story

This NYT article is so absurd. It's hard to believe a supposedly elite newspaper has such bad reporters. Worse it's a nonstory. Some in the media expected Hillary to make trouble for the president or for there to be huge drama between them. Well, they were wrong so they write foolish things like this. Pres Obama and Sec Clinton are working well together. Of course she's lower down on the hierarchy because anybody other than the Pres & VP are lower. Secondly the prime focus of the G20 conference was the global economy not foreign policy. That's why Tim Geithner had a higher profile. Hillary wasn't doing anything different from what her British or French or German counterparts were doing. So it seems to me that some in the media need a history lesson or they need to reread our constitution. Hillary recognizes what her job is as Sec of State and is doing an excellent job for our president and our country.
