Once again, Secretary Clinton is headed abroad. This time to The Hague, in the Netherlands, to attend a conference about Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Her official schedule:
ON FOREIGN TRAVEL
Meanwhile, husband Bill was in Colombia this weekend, attending the annual meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank (and apparently enjoying watermelon and bananas while he was at it).

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton poses with traditional Colombian fruit vendors in the framework of the 50th Inter-American Development Bank annual meeting on March 28 in Medellín, Colombia. The March 28 assembly was on the international economic crisis and its impact in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Looks like is having fun!
No wonder, climate in Colombia is far more invinting than in The Hague.
I miss Bill. We could have had his better half but Dean and Pelosi shoved Urkel down our throats.
It would be interesting to hear a little more about what former President Clinton talked about at the IADB meeting. Anybody got details?
Interesting side note: The buttons the fruit sellers are sporting say "Colombia es Pasión," the new national slogan at the heart of an attempt to re-brand the country's tarnished image. Check out the website (link below) and read a story in the Wall Street Journal about how the logo has been implemented since its conception in 2004
(link below). Apparently, there's more to the process than military operations and cocoa eradication. . .
