Secretary Clinton's official schedule for today:

ON FOREIGN TRAVEL

Clinton is on a two-day visit to Mexico, where will use her diplomatic skills to discuss free trade and Mexico's drug violence. (To read about how the violence might be affecting some people's travel plans, check out the recent FP photo essay: Spring Break Gone Wrong?)

I searched Getty for a Mexico-related Hillary image, and of the very few I could find, the one below stood out. I'm sure there'll be a ton of new images over the next two days, and I'll post the best ones.

Clintons with Zedillos, Oct. 10, 1995

U.S. President Bill Clinton walks with Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo, followed by first ladies Hillary Clinton and Nilda Patricia Zedillo, to greet guests during a state dinner at the White House on Oct. 11, 1995, in Washington.

I'm the first?

Ok so I need to be totally shallow first and ask how gorgeous can Hillary be? That's a beautiful dress on her. She looks like a princess.

Second, just a reminder to everyone that Greta is down there with Hillary and Thursday night will air a one-on-one with Hillary from Mexico City. Don't miss it! Best coverage yet on MSM since she assumed the post. (h/t Greta!)

Finally, Thanks Preeti. Now that we know how you have to source pictures, I have to say that the one you chose is very nice.

Hillary's Preeti pretty pics a smash hit...

Thanks for the pic of Hillary '95! She looks great--as always. I still recall her disdain for "Vogue-ish" stories and pics. In this respect, her total lack of narcissistic empty giggling sounds one usually attributes to the "Sound and Fury signifying nothing" media-hoggin' we're used to lately, she could be said to be the "anti-Obama" She's a famous (unlike most politicos frequenting the Washington Pygmy Circus) roll-up-your-sleeves-and-let's-work kind of girl! If only the current administration, or the disastrous one before it, possessed the same work ethic and "smart power" that Hillary seems to be having a monopoly on....

Delightfully photogenic pic--and probably not something Hillary would gloat upon for a nano-second...thx...

Yes, Anne, very painful indeed...Hillary received friendly fire!

Yes, I share the pain you feel. Hillary was still standing after being fired upon from all sides! The repugnants, the media misogynists and her own (ex)Democratic Party! Yet she received more popular votes and delegates were stolen from her. And don't forget there was no Roll call! The misogynists running this world can't afford to be caught with their incompetencies down their knees....
This global trailblazer is forging a path for girls and women throughout the world to seek their rightful place. And she ain't gettin' much help from many "progressive" women either. Guess progress is being told what to do and doing it. Independent minds in women were never an asset. Especially in the new administration! (What is "himbo"?)
