As The Cable just reported, Clinton's itinerary for her first official trip overseas has just been announced. From Reuters:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Japan, Indonesia, South Korea and China February 15-22 to discuss issues including the global financial crisis and climate change, the State Department said on Thursday.

"In all capitals, the secretary will be discussing common approaches to the challenges facing the international community, including the financial markets turmoil, humanitarian issues, security and climate change," State Department spokesman Robert Wood told reporters.

Well, Hillary

Will be hitting the ground running. She needs to tell China about their human rights abuses, along with other things.

well, I have to say.

U.S. media has been distorting and exaggerating stories to criticize China's human rights. I know what it's like in China. China has been working hard in decades to improve human rights, and there aren't that many human rights abuses as western media described. U.S and European countries just want China to give way to them, and socialism is like fascism to them. Basically it's just the ideological confrontation.
