Ann Lewis and Sarah Nolan, both long-time Clinton aides, have launched NoLimits.org, an organization intended to keep her supporters connected to one another and working on the policy issues that matter to them. Lewis says, "We want a way to stay in touch. We want to stay in touch with what's going on."
The new organization is building off the remnants of Clinton's presidential campaign, utilizing her email and donor lists to pull together like-minded individuals who want to stay involved in domestic policy issues Clinton once championed. Clinton herself, however, is not involved, as federal law prohibits her from engaging in much non-State-related political behavior (like fundraising and running a political action committee).
I got Ann Lewis's e-mail today and immediately responded, I for one would love to re-connect w/ the Hillary villagers and continue to work to see Hillary's mission (and the mission of so many democrats) achieved.
I am not sure what Hillary would be doing if she were POTUS right now, I can only hope she would not have offered this pork-laden "stimulus" package-
I wish the democrats had true leadership
She's going to have tens of thousands of people lobbying for what she believes in. Right on. Nice job Lewis, Nolan and Hillary.
So glad someone is carrying the torch
I also signed up today. Hillary inspired tens of thousands to become politically active and I'm grateful someone is going to unofficially maintain HRC's base while she serves as SoS. A lot can change in the next 4-8 years, should HRC choose to go back into elective office, it would be unwise and costly for her to let her base dissolve.
I have added my name to the list as well..we need to keep together..I support Hillary and her beliefs..we speak as one voice and are not alone...
I'm onboard with this effort, too. I agree that Hillary is smart to maintain her base by means of this organization. It's a good idea for her to keep her "finger on the pulse", if you will. The last thing she would want to do is distance herself completely from her supporters. You never know when you might need 18 million folks backing you up!
Hillary is brilliant. She doesn't miss a thing. She grabbed me by the heart, and I am it it for the long ride. Whatever you want to do, Hill, I'll be there right behind you.
I agree completely with Still4Hill, except "she grabbed me by the heart" and "the head"!
